Plenum VGA Cables

Since 1974, Comprehensive has been the leader in video cables. Millions of our video cables are in use through-out the world in studios, stadiums, Fortune 500 companies, government installations, classrooms, boardrooms and now living rooms around the world! Why? Because Comprehensive video cables are the perfect blend of performance, reliability and value.
(Learn more about us here)

VGA Plenum cables have a plenum or fire-retardant jacket instead of the standard PVC type jacket on regular cables. Plenum or fire-retardant jackets are required by the NEC (National Electric Code) for running cables through spaces without a conduit that can facilitate airflow in a building such as between the structural ceiling and drop ceiling or between a floor and raised floor of a building. Plenum cables help ensure the cabling does spread the fire through-out the building. Comprehensive manufactures all of our plenum cables on site and we use only the best premium grade materials. Comprehensive plenum cables come with the original Lifetime Warranty since 1974!

Buying Tip: Plenum cable should be marked with a CL2P, CL3P or CMP rating. Plenum cables are usually considerably more expensive that their PVC counterparts so be sure it is a plenum cable you need. For more information about Plenum Cables and requirements, please visit our Learning Center.
